Why Muay Thai?

Self-defense

Muay Thai has proven its effectiveness since it appeared on the battle field hundreds of years ago and more recently in the UFC octagon where it is an essential toolkit for success. Muay Thai teaches you to use your entire body as a weapon.

Fitness

The fitness benefits of Muay Thai are many fold. Unlike most martial arts Muay Thai trains your entire body because you are utilizing such a varied toolkit. Cardiovascular conditioning, core strength and explosive power are just some of the outcomes of training Muay Thai.

Mental toughness

A side effect of training in Muay Thai, with its challenging skill development and gruelling workouts, is mental toughness. Regardless if you’re a competitor or not, the resilience, determination and confidence you acquire training Muay Thai will help you overcome adversity in your day to day life.

Competitive sport

Muay Thai is one of the fastest growing sports today, and is now recognized as an official Olympic sport. As a competitive sport Muay Thai has much to offer the amateur and professional athlete alike.
